The CAM Benefit Program
The CAM Benefit Program is a Group Benefit Plan sponsored by the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM). Eligible members of CAM are encouraged
to participate in this excellent program. Benefits include Medical, Prescription Drugs (Rx), Dental, Vision and Group Life.
Listed below are some of the features and highlights of this program:
- Group Medical Insurance – Wide array of PPO programs are available and offer plan
design flexibility. You may select a full-featured plan with no deductibles
or co-insurance (in-network) or you can select plans that contain cost saving
deductibles and co-insurance. This means that you can find the right plan at a price
that meets your needs. In addition, plans are available to eligible employer groups of 2 or more employees.
- HSA Compatible Group Medical Plans - An extensive range of qualified high deductible and co-insurance options are available with our HSA Compatible Plans. A first dollar wellness option that covers both children and adults is available. These plans can offer premium savings for you and your employees. HSA contributions, earnings and withdrawals offer tax advantages. Also available is your choice of HSA administrators that can offer easy access to your HSA funds and other resources.
- Prescription Drug Coverage (Rx) – Each medical plan includes an Rx Plan. We offer several different Rx plans to meet your specific needs. Mail order prescription drugs, with lower out of pocket costs, are available as a standard feature.
- Group Dental Coverage – An optional Dental Plan is available to employers of 2 or more employees.
There are multiple plans available and there is no waiting period for benefits, giving you and your employees
a valuable and immediate benefit.
- Vision Coverage – A choice of three optional Vision Plans are available when purchasing the
Group Medical Plan. These plans are designed to give you plan design flexibility
at an affordable price.
- Group Term Life and AD&D – A Term Life Plan is included along with all of the medical plans. A minimum of $15,000
is provided for each eligible employee that elects medical coverage. Larger coverage amounts are available as well (restrictions may apply).

- The CAM Benefit Program is fully insured through Madison National Life Insurance Company, Inc. and A.M. Best has given Madison an A- [Excellent] rating for over 25 years.
- Excellent primary local and national networks
- A Travel Network is available while on vacation, business travel or for the student away from home
